Spinach, a dark green leafy vegetable, boasts high levels of fiber and folate. It is high in carotenoids, which are anti-oxidants that cleanse the body of potentially dangerous free radicals.
Flax is high in lignans, or plant estrogens, as well as Omega 3 fatty acids. Flax is an excellent food source believed to lower cancer risk and cholesterol levels.
